3 DAYS GORILLA HABITUATION EXPERIENCE
Gorilla habituation is the process of gently introducing wild Mountain Gorillas to the sight and presence of humans for research, care and conservation purposes. Visitors are now able to take part in this process via gorilla habituation experience.The habituation experience only takes place at Rushaga on the Kisoro side of the park. The starting point for the habituation trek is different from the standard gorilla treks.

Day 1: Arrival
Upon the arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked by a guide from Prime tours Uganda.Embark on journey en route to BwindiImpenatrable National Park in south western Uganda in Kisoro district and it is approximately 484km from Kampala which takes around 7 to 8hours of driving. Make a stopover in Mbarara town to visit Igongo Cultural Center and to have lunch at Café Havana/Agip motel/Shaheen restaurant. Continue journey to Kisorodistrict.
After the arrival at the park, go for the Batwa trail experience. The Batwa pygmies are believed to have been the first inhabitants of Bwindi forest, and they have such a rich cultural background that is quite interesting. Day 2: Gorilla tracking
Have your early morning breakfast, head to Nshongi camp the home for gorilla tracking in Rushaga and you will be briefed before you embark on the adventurous Gorilla habituation experience.Have packed lunch and continue with the day-long gorilla trek. Dinner and overnight stay Gorilla Mist Camp/Silver back lodge/Volcanoes Safari Lodge Bwindi
Day 3: Depart to Kampala
After your morning breakfast, check-out and embark on the journey back to Kampala with a stopover at the Uganda Equator for photo shoots and shopping and lunch en route, thereafter you proceed to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight.
