Sipi Falls are found in the Eastern Uganda Mbale district near the Uganda-Kenya boarder and it is approximately 242km and this takes around 4 to 5hours from Kampala.Sipi Falls is a series of three waterfalls that lie on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park.These waterfalls are found in the area which is the starting point for many hikes up Mt. Elgon.

Day 1: Transfer to Mbale

You will be picked from the airport by our very hospitable guides.Embark on Journey to Mbale district from where you will proceed to Sipi falls in Kapchorwa district. Have your lunch in Mbale town at Nuralis restaurant/Eco Shamba café/Cosmo restaurant.Proceed for the hike to Sipi falls.

The most popular route starts in Budadiri and follows the Sasa trail to the summit and then descends down the Sipi trail back into the Sipi Falls. Hikes around the falls offer stunning views of the Karamoja plains, Lake Kyoga, and the slopes of Mt. Elgon.

Proceed to PianUpe wild life reserve and this takes about 1 hour and a half to get there from this point. Dinner and overnight stay Karamoja Overland Camp/Self-contained cottages/self-contained tents.

Day 2:PianUpe wildlife reserve

After your morning breakfast, embark on a guided safari drive in PianUpe, expect to see Jackals, hyenas, cheetahs, cape buffalo, Roan antelope(only conservation area in Uganda where you can find this fine looking antelope), dikdik, Uganda kob, water back, aardvark, velvet and patas monkeys and olive baboons and birds like the giant Ostriches. Turn back to Mbale town for lunch at Nuralis restaurant/Eco Shamba café/Cosmo restaurant.Embark on the journey back to Kampala.
